Hey guys so I picked up this 1911s dime and was curious as to what everyone's opinion on grade and condition is ..
Also I notice a few weird spots on the rim of the coin any idea what they are?

It really doesn't look like a rim ding though , I've never seen anything like it ..
I thought possibly spots where a mount had been removed maybe ?
Or could it be extra metal from when the coin was struck ?
Anyone's guess is as good as mine :)
Rest in Peace

It's possible that it could have been mounted in a piece of jewelry . AU-Details ,Not very attractive.

I'd say you guys are probably right , but even though it's not that attractive I thought for less than 10 bucks it was a nice pick up !!

Less than ten bucks is a good buy if one needs to fill a hole. I would not have bought it.

I'm closer to EF details.
