drnsreedhar Pillar of the Community India 1995 Posts	Posted 07/05/2016 11:17 pm FARUKKHABAD: Mohammad Khan the nawab during the reign of the Mughal Emperor Farukhsiyar built a town named Muhammadabad. He started founding another city in 1714.AD and named it Farukhabad.Later it became a tributary to Awadh and still later got ceded to the British. Now it is in the state of Uttar Pradesh. drnsreedhar Pillar of the Community India 1995 Posts	Posted 07/06/2016 12:21 am GWALIOR: A fort was founded by Maharaj Suraj Sen in commemoration of a Saint named Gwalipa around which developed a city named Gwalior. Later in 1731.AD, the Scindias captured Gwalior and thence it became a Princely State. Now this in the state of Madhya Pradesh and its capital Gwalior is a counter-magnet city.
