It is interesting to note that there are two denominations written in two scripts on the reverse on either side of the coat of Arms. In Devanagari, the legend is "paav anna" meaning a quarter of an Anna. In Persoarabic, the legend is " Eik pice" meaning one Pice. Both mean the same value. This is because four Pice made one Anna. Quarter Anna is One Pice. (Sixteen Annas = one rupee = 64 Pice).
