Found two more nickel wrappers that I had not seen previously:

Unfortunately, these wrappers were more interesting than the nickels inside them:

I need to post a picture of my "albino" MWR of nickels that I occasionally run into.

I got a box of nickels today with home-made wrappers made out of advertisements from a store called "Nichols."

Unfortunately, each roll consisted of circulated common-date 60s and 70s. The tape on each end was pretty dried up, so these rolls have been around for a long time. I got a similar box of searched cents from the same back today. Better luck next time!

It says "patented May 31,1921". I found them in a remote rural town in 2008.

Apparently there were also metal "wrappers" back in the early part of the 20th century. I haven't seen one -- anyone else got any info on those ones? Or which bank/mint put them out?
