I was just coming back to say Comedy Central after I googled "cc" images. I saw it in black and yellow on Vimeo. Same logo.
I still do not understand the value other than a lawsuit. Lol. Please enlighten me;)))

It's a classic labyrinth maze with the outer circle removed. Has the entire maze been fit onto a 38mm coin the brass ball would be so minuscule that it would likely require magnification to play. You can notice the two "C's" here, minus the outer circle: 262432423017Thanks for replying rjlavoie. It was not my intent to have fun at your expense and my sincere apologies as your thoughts were obviously sincere.

From an intellectual property standpoint, there is a near-zero chance of success in filing a legal claim for "passing-off", "unauthorized use", or other "usage-rights claims" if that is what is being inferred by recent comments.
I wouldn't be rushing out to make a purchase on these grounds....

Is that a joke? (Pun intended)
I'd also be a-Mazed if Comedy Central now holds intellectual rights to labyrinth mazes, less the outer circle or otherwise.

I knew I recognized the logo but couldn't remember from what. Although I don't think it will raise the value of the coin, it would certainly put the spotlight on it if Comedy Central complains of trademark infringement. I was trying to play it off all cool but I'm not going to lie, there was suspense.

But now it's just back to me soon being the owner of an easy-to-do maze on a coin that cost more than I'll likely ever get back out of it. That is until I am crowned champion speed demon for doing this "maze" in record time. Practice my coin collecting friends, because it's on.

Who will be the first to list it on ebay.com as a Comedy Central error coin?

rjlavoie, Thanks for pointing that logo out, as I was wondering why the coin looked so familiar. It is perfectly suited for this coin, especially after reading the reviews about this coin on the RCM website. It is kind of comical what is being passed off as coins nowadays according to some experienced collectors. I bought this coin, knowing it is a huge gimmick. I'm still pretty new to this and have lots to learn still. This forum is the best teacher I've had so far. Information at your fingertips. Do I like the coins design? Just a maple leaf on it + a maze. Since I didn't buy it to resell it, do I care if it goes up in value? Yes. I do. I certainly don't want to be able to get another one next year at 1/2 the price. I want my collection to at least hold value if I'm paying issue price. That seems difficult lately unless the coin has gimmick. Glass, glow in the dark, maple leaf/egg shaped, etc. are the few I can think of that have even a snowballs chance of holding value. But this maze coin, possible the last coin I buy directly from the mint at issue price, has a 1 up on all other coins in my collection. It'll be the only one I actually keep readily available. When I'm waiting for an elevator, I can try to beat my best time. Listening to a boring story by my brother about his car calls for the a-maze-ing coin too. I'm gonna get money's worth out of this puppy. "Sorry dear, I'm busy playing with my coin", may lead to a divorce but I'm getting my money's worth.

I'm just not getting the connection. We're to assume that RCM is attempting to pass off a $20 silver coin as being minted by Comedy Central? Because that's what intellectual property rights are intended to protect - so that a rogue company cannot sell or promote or profit from goods that are falsely made to appear to be connected to the legal logo holder, "The essential function of a trademark is to exclusively identify the commercial source or origin of products or services, so a trademark, properly called, indicates source or serves as a badge of origin. In other words, trademarks serve to identify a particular business as the source of goods or services. The use of a trademark in this way is known as trademark use....." https://wikipedia.org/wiki/Trademark***** Just because Comedy Central uses that logo, it does not mean they own copyright on all labyrinth mazes or the letter of the alphabet "C", frontward or backward.

I'm actually now considering ordering a second maze to carry in my pocket. It may come in handy to get free drinks at bars by challenging friends to a "coin game". In high school, there were plenty of games with coins on the cafeteria tables, which is what most people I know would think I was talking about. My steady, sober hand VS. Drunk buddy with tiny ball on a maze coin sounds like at least a few free drinks to me....

New1954,
It's all about having a good time. Glad to be of service. Perhaps I'll get my own show.... if only there was some sort of network that promoted funny stuff on tv.

Yeah but how about this one, the magnetic wand and multiple balls and all, far more complicated. You could win free drinks for the house! 371593511209
