I'm going to pass. But it does seem very educational.

If your friends might be bored playing the maze coin, you could tell them they've a chance to capture a Minotaur right there, right now. A little creative buildup never hurts....marketing 101 and all. Seriously, the history of the maze (labyrinth) is somewhat fascinating and it makes sense why mazes have become so popular in video games. I had no idea they were anything more than long ago remembered junky prizes from Pink Elephant popcorn. "In Greek mythology, the labyrinth was an elaborate structure designed and built by the legendary artificer Daedalus for King Minos of Crete at Knossos. Its function was to hold the Minotaur eventually killed by the hero Theseus. Daedalus had so cunningly made the Labyrinth that he could barely escape it after he built it...." https://wikipedia.org/wiki/Labyrinth

Rec'd my maze coin- it's amazing. it really tests the steadiness of one's hand-lol. Lots of depth.Looks even better than the video. My picture doesn't give it justice (:. none displayed).

I just got mine. It really does have a lot of depth to the groves and the ball is really tiny. I opened it at the post office. The clerk working there thought it was the coolest thing ever. I'm sure he is not a coin collector. All in all, I'm very happen with my purchase. The guy in the demo video did the maze much quicker than my first attempt.

The obverse has a really cool design as well which is a nice touch. I don't think I've seen anything like that on a low face value coin.

I also got my maze coin, much better in-hand than on the website. The obverse design is neat!

The mint now has its first coloured convex coin celebrating 125 years since basketball was invented, with a basketball texture. $159.95, with 8500. Not for me.
Canada 150 collection with 13 coins and free wooden box for them looks nice. They almost look like photographs. Price is nice per coin at $45 but at $585 for the set, not for me.
And...... Yet another superman, alongside batman and wonder women to complete this 3 coin set.

@Redzapsid This thread is about RCM June 2016 releases. The RCM July releases are on a different thread. @MoneyPenney Not two releases. I believe the RCM released July issues earlier this month because of holidays coming up for most at the RCM and that is why it was sent out earlier than last month's. @CoinCanuck94 Received my Maze coin as well. I love it. I still cannot get that ball into the centre. LOL> LOL p.s. Order $150.00 or more from RCM and receive a free O Canada gift set

I received a pamphlet in the mail that says coins are available June 27th and features some coins that were just added to the website a few days ago such as the lucky loonie and Olympic silver dollar. I just assumed it was another June release.

@Redzapsid
I do get the Advance Notices prior to other MC members simply for the reason that I spend way tooooooooo much money.
I will be buried in a pure silver casket with gold plated edging from all the gold superman coins. LOL LOL LOL LOL

Same with me. But my collection will be past on to future generations, not buried with me.
