Quote: So the Maple Leaf Maze coin is listed as a June release, but the Mint's web page for it say it's not shipping until Aug 12. I wonder why there is such a long delay. Last week I ordered one of them, and my order status is "Processing". I wonder if I'll receive it before Aug 12. I wish they'd ship these out right away. You might thing I'm crazy, but these coins may be worth a lot more later. That's a change because it was shipping June 7th. There are some pics of actual coins on ebay so maybe they are doing a few separate production runs. Seems to be the norm lately. The coloured SD set comes to mind as another that had some ship initially and then a later 'batch' done.

Rjlavoi, I hope you're not relying on the price of brass skyrocketing to $100s per tiny ball of brass. Lol. I'd love to know your inside information. Mine has been ordered but I'm not banking on it jumping too high in value.

And hopefully you really know something we don't, because I'm sure I'm not the only one waiting to hear

It's a simplistic maze and even if it's manufactured incorrectly in some way, that will not make it worth more money given there's 8000 of them that are exactly identical.

Perhaps the ball is actually gold? Gold plated platinum? Nope. Just brass.

Actually rjlavoie is perfecting his or her selling techniques in advance of future opportunities. Marketing 101 - #8 Create a teaser element that capitalizes on suspense and mystery.

But actually (for the recent years) raised in price only very limited editions to which many collectors just didn't have access. The same over-world, with the exception of Royal Mint: 10k mintage Rabbit - people paid big money for their childhood 10k mintage George and the Dragon - big money paid for the timeless masterpiece

You're not, well you should be! Then let's see how I do because I might have taken the same selling course way back when. "Pssst, I might know something REALLY big that's going to make you LOTS of money if you buy <insert here> but I can't tell you because I've promised to keep it a secret ......" writes me, an anonymous person on a public forum. You must surely be overwhelmed by suspense now?

First time I looked at the coin, I thought "I've seen that before". I just couldn't think where. Now I remember.

The RCM production team consulted with Maurice Gervais on graphics. He is not given credit for design. Could this be it? I re-read the newsletter from RCM and nothing stands out. Right on about Marketing 101.

I don't get what you mean about the design. The whole design is about C's Canada. Canada.

I have no clue what that design is. But I'm glad the (lack of) suspense is over. Is that a company logo?

Is that a joke? (Pun intended)
How does that make the coin worth more?
