Die Crack

As graceoutcast said, check to see if the line is raised or indented. if the line is raised from the surface of the coin it is a die crack. if it is a scratch you should be able to see that the surface has been cut down into.

Pull your light to a low anlge to the surface of the coin and hold the line on the coin perpendicular to the light source. If the lit-up area is on the light side of the line, it's raised. If the lit-up area is on the side away from the light source, it's a scratch.

My bet is on scratch, because that large area at the bottom of the coin is a huge scratch - no doubt about that one.

Secondly, even if this were a die crack, it's not a collectible error. Die cracks are common and do not bring any real premium value.
