The quarter looks pretty awesome in my opinion. But since I'm a noob at this, it doesn't really mean anything!

The Dime does have alot of blue in it. The Quarter is my favorite.

Hi Miterman, I like them both and they do appear to be high mint-state grades. If they were my coins I would probably be willing to risk the grading fee. I don't have a handle on how NGC decides to award their stars, though. It's definitely a gamble but the potential pay-off is attractive.
If you do decide to submit them, let us know how it turns out!

Some toning isn't attractive I for one like the coloring, other toning can be quite ugly. They are mint state but I been kicking the idea of slabbing them. Thanks for the opinions

Both coins could have gotten their toning from an old Wayte Raymond album. I bought a complete set of Roosevelt dimes from a gentleman who was given the set for his birthday in 1958. Most of the dimes had very similar toning to your dime. I think both are worth slabbing if for no other reason than preserving them. Just curious, where did you get them?
