1893-O Morgan dollar The Panic of 1893 and the repeal of the Sherman Silver Purchase Act of 1890 were affecting mintages of silver dollars across all the US mints. The 1893-O has the lowest mintage (300,000) of all Morgan dollars from New Orleans, and PCGS estimates less than 30,000 survive in all grades.

Quote: These coins have waited 114 years for their 15 minutes of fame. Not pretty, but they did their service to their country. I greatly admire the Barber series. Love them! Everyone has posted some nice Barber coins. No insult intended, but I was getting a bit tired of the Morgan dollars.
