Germanicvs, or dsfreeworld. By transitional reverse of the 1841-O dime do you mean the open (late) or closed (early) bud variety?

sorry, for my poorly worded question. It should have read, is the closed bud considered the transitional reverse or the open bud? I have to wait for the 1850 day to post my next coin  until then I'm enjoying the show

closed you want to find the closed bud. even a low end AG is worth quite a good amount to the right variety hound who cares for such things. I know of a PCGS VF20 CAC for $2200 right now.
