OK, so I have a bunch of Morgan's that I am going to post to get some information / expert opinions on as I am in the dark in terms of what these are condition wise / worth wise. Here's the first - a 1921 Morgan silver dollar I have some more of these I'd like to post as well as some other coins...not sure how the forum is about putting a bunch of posts / pictures at once....

Suggest posting them one at a time in the grading section, and you'll get the most replies. I'm bad at grading these, but might make AU55ish imo. Nice toning so it might get $35. I hate being first so I'm sure others will set us straight :-)

I'd go with AU. My LCS sells much nicer ones for $35 so I am thinking this would retail in the $25 range. If you walked in to sell one, I wouldn't expect an offer much over $20 from a dealer. Great way to check for yourself OP or anyone out there reading along and not participating, is to check the ebay sold listings. Here is a link for that coin on ebay. http://www.ebay.com/sch/Morgan-1878...045573.m1684Looks to be a $25 - $30 coin on ebay. Generally a seller is paying ballpark 15% in fees and shipping too if it helps. Nice coin with a lot of detail left in her at that price. Keep them coin pics coming and welcome aboard.

AU50. cleaned/retoned. this type of coloring happens often when a coin is dipped and not rinsed properly. over time the residual chemicals react with the metals where you will see this dark blotchy dull toning
