I buy from the RCM a lot. I am a Platinum plus member. I think it is really nice that they do this. I buy from Perth Mint and the RAM mint a lot also. They don't have anything near this program. We would buy coins no matter what. We all are looking for that new coin that is the "ONE" everyone wants. I know I wish I would have bought the 2011 Murano Glass Ladybug when it came out. I have all the rest, but without that first one, that set is not the same. I just bought it on ebay for a lot more. Anyway, I am just glad to get something for nothing as long as I am concerned.

paying at least 5% less than issue price from dealers still seems like a better deal than a free box or redemption code from RCM. I was a MC member for a few years, but will likely not make anymore purchases from the RCM. I may indulge in the circulation coins as long as they're sold at face value

I still have my $130.00 MC reward to spend. Anyone else? Just over 2 weeks left to spend it. I do not see much that grabs my interest.
Will there be anymore releases before the end of the month that those in the know know about?
Throw me out some suggestions about what to spend it on.

Maybe should have spent the 130 on the Pysanka? Would have been free

I'm in the same boat T1Steel. Still have to find something to spend that $130 on. I will get the latest silver dollar but that leaves $70 to spend. If nothing else comes out in the next couple of weeks, I guess I just have to the bite the bullet and pick something, anything.

No interest in the Pysanka. I saw one yesterday at Canada Post just sitting there. Apparently no one else wanted it either....yet.

I still think the MC box is the way to go if you haven't found anything to use the code for. They really are very impressive, and will hold their value longer. lol.

I just received my second box. Getting the first one free and with no notice a couple years ago was awesome. I figure I'll use them to house the favorite of my collection or fill them the less favourites and sell it as a lot.

As an FYI, I got a call from my RCM rep as to what I wanted done with my $130 credit which expires at the end of the month. I didn't realize I had a credit. LOL
Ordered the barn owl, which was in stock at the moment and silver heart coin. Could have got their box but passed.

Same here. Received an email today advising me of the credit notice from December. Somehow I neither got the email or deleted it.
Personally would rather have the box. Wish I had known earlier otherwise I would have saved up my recent orders that are now being shipped.

Nonetheless, since I couldn't find the box listed or available to be ordered, I settled on 4 more of the 8 coin sets and another $3 coin.
They should make nice gifts at Christmas or for Birthdays. Hopefully the order goes through!

You might still be able to get the box if you want it. Try contacting your rep. I couldn't find it on the website either at first, but was able to after a member here listed the item number. It's 145978. I sent an email to my rep saying I wanted the box and included the item number to be sure I didn't get the regular wooden box. At the time, entering the item number in a search of the RCM website brought up the MC box, when I couldn't find it any other way. It doesn't appear to work now. It's worth a shot. Again, the boxes are very nice.

I received a letter in the mail with the redemption code and another folder that explained the upcoming changes to the MC.
Wondering how RCM sent these letters to some and not others. But it is the RCM,that says a lot.

The first I heard of the redemption code was in an email dated August 17, 2016. It said the code would be issued instead of me receiving the MC wooden box as stated in a June 27th email and that the value would be based on the purchases previously made.
I'm glad they decided to honour the original email.

Received the last item I ordered today and it appears that even the 'free gifts' and fv coins may have been factored into my current level which is less than half what I spent in 2016.

Has anyone else received notice their rep is pursuing other career opportunities? Too bad, my rep was usually speedy with replies and helpful. I hope his replacement is as well.
