In a stash of silver quarters I found 2 silver 1950 Washington quarters that look like it may be of the S/D or D/S variety, or possibly just a worn mint mark. Very difficult for me to discern, because when placed under a magnifying glass it looks as if the tips of the mintmark are joined together. If anyone can afford his or her time/expertise, I'd greatly appreciate it!

I'm no expert, but without magnification, those look like regular S mint marks that are just smudged with age. Could you take a photo under magnification?

They're still definitely worth keeping, considering the age and silver content.
