Nice Find!

I think that belonged to my second cousin, once removed, J. J. Quarters. Born in 1987.

There should be a twin (Quarters), so keep looking.

That is one of those images that looks like the JJ is raised. But I know it has to be incuse. (damage on the reverse) But I can't get my eyes to see it incuse...

I hate when that happens. I see that on the COC website sometimes. I always have to focus past the image until I get the high and low points to change places.

Nice graphic, Coop! This happens to me a lot. I expect the light source to be from the left and often see incuse letters at first glance on many coins lit from the right.
