1934 Doubled Die Obverse / DDO Field Below Date

Mightyheaths Valued Member United States 98 Posts	Posted 08/19/2016 6:53 pm Best pics I can post, there appears to be remains of the date below the 3 & 4. Or it could be a simple die gauge. One marker that intrigued me was the curved gauge in the vest. Please let me know your thoughts. Report this Post to the Staff

cwb Pillar of the Community United States 3463 Posts	Posted 08/19/2016 7:13 pm There is a 1934 doubled die obverse that has part of the date below the three and four, but I am not seeing it on this one. I even did an overlay to make sure I was looking in the exact area, and I still couldn't see it. Like cwb said, maybe some better lighting could "shed light" (muhahaha) on whether or not there's some doubling. I'd keep it for now though, just to be sure.
