My favourite is: "Sellers claim the coins are hard to come by. But 5.3 million have been printed since 2013, so they are unlikely to be worth more than their face value of 50p."

When were coins PRINTED?

Also the comments are hilarious:

"Bunkum. I read it and thought I`d check an old purse that I save copper coins in. I only have about 15 each of 2p and 1p coins. Checked three and the fourth was a `New pence` 2p. That`s nice I thought, an easy £500. By the time I`d checked them all, I had four `New Pence` 2p coins. So it`s clearly nonsense to describe them as rare."

"Shoot me now. I just used one of those 20p coins."

The sort of people who read an article like this and believe that any coin that looks even remotely similar is going to be worth the same amount.
