That is one cool coin. Quite a large premium, but for a mintage of 150 I guess that's what they go for.

Wow! Talk about a nice chunk of change for future purchases. I saw those before but never realized how huge they were.

Is it just me, or does the design seem a bit uncanny to anyone else? I like the idea of it but something about the angel's proportions reminds me of a large child.

Well since gold is weighed on the troy scale it's actually 1 1/4 pounds of gold.

And since the troy oz is a little heavier than a standard ounce, 15 troy oz is a little heavier than a standard pound, about 16.5 standard oz.
