Beautiful coin, but the one I received from the mint has dust specks inside the capsule. The goose looks like it is pooping...lol
Will be returning it for replacement.

Yes, pooping. :-)
Initially I was disappointed because it was quite noticeable, but then I saw the humour and cracked up laughing.

You're giving the mint ideas. Seeing as the RCM has exhausted all angles of birds from the front. In 2018, they will introduce the Birds of Prey - Birds Doing What Birds Do from the rear series. They should make a $20-for-$20 out of this image https://qph.ec.quoracdn.net/main-qi...to_webp=true

Loonie,
There seems to be quite a bit of specs/dust all over your coin. I want the job of the guy that does quality control at the mint. I bet it pays more than I get at my job, and apparently you can suck at it at still be employed. The actual coin looks very nice. I'll have to wait if I'm ever getting one.

A lot of my RCM coins have dust inside the capsule. With a 5 oz coin the dust is more noticeable. I would say most coins have dust on them. Is it really worth returning it when you may get another one with dust in it. I usually use a dust blower on it.

I've received many coins with dust in them, and haven't had a problem opening the 1oz and 2oz capsules, but the last time I tried to open a 5oz capsule I damaged it badly, and from my research looks like I'm not the only one. I find those really hard to open without cracking them. Any tips?

New to subscriptions, how are future coins going to be sent? Clam shell?

Here the great example of the current value of the "Coloured" series, 5oz Big Coins. While (assumingly) gilded Big 50 cents holds it's value, the CANADA 2016 50 Cent 5oz FINE SILVER COIN - BIG COIN SERIES COAT OF ARMS sold with auction for CAD 370Item ID = 131976087783Hopefully, the 1967-2017 series will not be repeated in colour.

Being saying all along that colouring a basically a similar series holds back the first set and turns the colour one an instant dud, you can't beat a theme to death, that is why a lot of collectors held back on this goose 1967 set.
