dsburton Valued Member United States 55 Posts	Posted 09/29/2016 1:54 pm Hello all, I'm not a collector of Roman coins at the moment, but I thought that I would pass along a news story out there about construction workers in Spain coming across 1,300 pounds of bronze Roman coins from the late third and early fourth century. They were buried in 19 amphoras in the town of Tomares near Seville. I found the article on seeker dot com which used to be Discovery news online. I'm sure you can find the article with a search, as I'm not supposed to post outside links. They said the coins were in barely used condition. There are no more info about the finding... ...and probably we are going to know NOTHING more about the finding.
