Hello Frineds, just a unique question. I feel the 4 in 1941 1942 to 1943 are the same. Then the 1944 is bigger 4. When I view them I see the difference. Do you? There is a micron of difference big enough for a trained eye to notice the difference. The mint for sure changed the design for the 1946 with a more slanted 4 then the norm before. Why? Design changes. But here its a million dollar question. Appreciate your guidance. Again. Is the 4 different in size the the 1943 and 1944.

I'll have to research the differences pertaining to the "4" design.

Was curious about the source for the images. Mainly the first one as the second is identifiable.

Though I think I recognize the sources background. If your saying the first image are your coins, then you would have a show stopper pair. Thanks, Doug.

Thanks for your interest. The 1940,1941,1942,1943 seem to show a smaller 4 then a 1944 cent. Wny? And futhermore the 1945 and 1946 even changed design to more slanted 4. The Question pretians to a copper or a brass cent I found with a Error 3. So I am trying to elimainate the possiblities that its not a 1944 ,as some folks have misken it to be. And those are not my coins ,just examples to compare.
