This is a beautiful coin no matter what but it looks different than other 72d pennys. I'm not sure if it's just me or if indeed this coin is "different" than most other 72s. Thank you for your brutal honesty lol.

What are you seeing as different? It looks like a normal coin to me. Also, with the spots it would be a spender in my book.

For its age it looks to have been set aside for sometime. Meaning lack of toning for its age.

I'm not seeing anything more than that except the obverse spots and potential finger print showing on the first, second and last image.

Is there something more I'm not seeing? Thanks, Doug.

It just looked to me like the date was a good bit thicker but I see it's a normal coin. When I look through the loupe for lond periods of time I actually start seeing something on every coin.

Brutally speaking, I'm afraid it's just an everyday LMC, and not a very attractive one at that.
