Bought a burger yesterday and got this in change. Looks way better in person. I couldn't seem to get better images than these.

You would probably get a better image outside with natural sunlight. The light you are using is too bright and shows a glare. I would guess the coin was either cleaned or heated and made the odd color. Definitely altered.

Just normal start of corrosion from handling and being spent.
