It called will power! And I don't mean will as in "will buy the set". Happy birthday. I'm sure you will enjoy both. Which do you think you will look at more? Lol.

I know I'm off topic, but just responding. I thought it was a gimmick until I saw the difference. The 4k w HDR tv actually makes the 1080 more vibrant- it up scales and the frame is smaller ( >tv to watch). I'm in total awe- now lets see the mint do this-lol.

@cash03 and @Redzapsid
Does not matter which one I will look at more. What matters most is what pleases me.
Life is wonderful when one is given the "will" to choose whatever they deem worthy. When I pass on from this earth, I wonder which possession my children will treasure more? The TV or this Penny Legacy coin set? Hmmmmmm....which will fetch more money?

If you keep the tv in the box and its graded ms70, I'd go with the tv. Just kidding. If I was given the option to pick either the tv or coin set for free, it would be a tough choice. After all, Walking dead just started the new season. Lol.
I'd take the Coins. My place is too small for a big tv. It would look funny next to my VCR.
Again, congrats on both purchases. I hope my birthday is even half as rewarding.

I undrestand you, enjoy TV guys and the coins! Judged by myself, that for last 20 years (since left paren't house) doesn't watch any of the broadcasts exept of the live stream or downloaded movies.
Happy B-Day, New1954!

If anyone is still interested in buying one, 43 sets are back in stock at the RCM.

Thank you, JimperThis fact actually would cause 50% of the buyers to cancel RCM orders. Looks like the sets will turn around here and there for a long time....

@Silveroid
I totally agree. I cancelled 3 sets and kept 1 for myself.

RCM is restocked because a lot of people cancelled their orders. Someone on the other forum cancelled 10 sets.

So looks like the original 2012 5 coin penny set is standing it's ground.

Quote: I cancelled 3 sets and kept 1 for myself. This was smart move. For the personal collection, if budget isn't tight - the issue price not bad. But here nothing to do with extra....and if needed to make a gift (for example for child) - probably later will be possible for less than issue. The "Penny set" apparently became to be "Mask set" - with 3000 mintage, appealing coins and great artwork - not enough demand.

The 3 coin mask set is still one of the nicest coin (sets) the RCM has made in recent years. If I sell my coins, these will be in the few I keep

I just cancelled my Penny set too. With this trend of being available still and high price point, I'm not risking this one dropping in value.
I agree with Silveroid, this one may be available later for less than issue. I don't have the original last penny set. Just missed out on getting for issue years ago. It's still on my wanted list. I would personally rather have that one than this set.
