I cancelled my order last week. The order still shows as open, and the charges on my credit card have not been reversed.

So to forum members: In you experience, how long does it usually take for the order to show cancelled, and the credit card to show the reversal?

There should be no charge on your credit card if the Mint has not shipped your order.

If they have shipped it, you can't cancel. You have to return the item and wait for a credit - that can take weeks.

CC-Ottawa,

I chose the 3 payment plan to have more time to decide.

So far, I been charged for 2 payments.

There is a case, where set doesn't fit above.
If the payment has been divided by monthly plan - the buyer at the day of purchase immediately charged part of the payment and then will expected second or second and third payments.
So, if the customer cancels the purchase - he already paid once (at least) and the set hasn't been shipped.

And this very subjective.
Secondary market tells the opposite.
While 2012 set commands some premium, the recent set with high probability will be valued less and less....and less

This is the similar situation as for 1kg silver coins - being beautiful, they are not popular. Their initial high price always going towards the bullion value.

Probably right @silveroid.

This set is in a big wooden box. I never ever expected it to be so big!!

I have number 126/3000.

Love it

PS. I also have another set coming from another coin dealer.

Christmas is here.

I've already "explained" to Santa.

That is very subjective.

The secondary market will only determine whether the price rises or falls.
Some people choose to determine if a coin is a winner or loser based on the fluctuation of price in the secondary market and some choose to simply view the coins beauty in hand before drawing the conclusion of winner or loser.
