TBH, I purchased the penny sets to resell, but I would be more than happy to sell it for $710 plus shipping. My purpose is not to make $ of it, but to maintain my MC plat status so that I can purchase the coins I WANT as issue and not have to pay a premium on those. For example, even if this penny set holds its value on ebay, the purchaser has to pay an approx premium of $100 so that the seller nets the issue price. I purchased 3, if I can sell them all at issue, I got my MC plat for the next year, which is good enough for me. This might be ruining the market for those who want to make a profit however.

It does not make sense to lose money in order to get Platinum Status. If you sell at $710 issue, you are looking at around $90 in eBay/Paypal fees. So you are paying $270 in total to get MC Platinum!

MC platinum is pretty useless as hot coins don't even reach that level. Anything that becomes available to MC Platinum can be found at dealers anyway.

A better option is to spend $500 and get the 3 free coins valued at $435. At least if you sell them all you should break even.

I mean getting a net amount of issue price, so $710 net after fees shipping and so on. I find MC convenient with their free shipping and the exclusive coins. Although I have the 5% off from colonial acres and from a Canada Post dealer who offees me 5% off but usually the hot coins are gone. I have only been able to get good coins through RCM. Such as some past superman gold, and silver cota

To get net of $710, you will need to sell above $800 and that could be hard if there are a lot of flippers out there. So far, none has sold on ebay yet.

Doubtfully, someone will buy them for more than 50% of issue.
Even less.
If I would thinking about this option, will be bringing these coins to one of the dealers (lets say CC&C) and getting melt value for them.

I took advantage of the offer; I got to spend $500 on coins I wanted and even if the free coins were only worth 1/2 of release price, it still adds up to a $217 discount on my $500 purchase.

How do you get the offer of free coins when spending $500 or more? I received no email about the offer nor did adding expensive coins to the cart worked.

I would like to get it against Penny Set, but wouldn't ready to look for some additional coins, just to get the sale

According to informed sources, there are A LOT of cancellations this am. Flippers are fleeing in droves.

There might not be a waiting list soon

I don't think the Legacy Penny Set will be back up for sale while the sale is on but if so I will be ordering another set.
