I like to collect circulation colour and their non colour
25 cent counterparts. Most are high mintage but are fun to
save and at face value the price is right. I 2x2 any that
I think are good. I also collect the pliofilm RCM issues of
these coins. Here are some that were mentioned.

It could be because I am in USA and haven't been desensitized to them, but I personally do not find them in any way appealing. In fact, quite the opposite. I do not even find bi-metallic coins appealing.

It's my opinion that Canadian modern quarters are much too "busy", with too much going on to be beautiful. The mint got carried away with showing themes that they neglected to appeal to the eye...

Agreed, it's very evident in the War of 1812 commemorative quarters, the non-coloured ones with the frosted portrait would be a beautiful coin without all that extraneous writing on them.

I dread to think of which designs RCM will choose for the 2017 coins, some of them were hideous they were so over designed. Someone else pointed out in a previous thread that the reason the 1967 coins are so well liked is the clean design with large, open fields.
