Received my SS gift yesterday. Got a nice 1979 Red Book (coincidently with a newspaper article from 1979 tucked inside the cover about the SBA coin). Also a very cool sterling silver money clip with a nice Mexican silver coin that I need to research a bit to find out more about it.

Thanks so much Seceret Santa!

I took the "$5-$10 value" seriously, and only sent a single coin that I was fairly confident fell into that range.... I hope I don't disappoint my receiver!

Me too. The gift I sent is probably worth about $10 or $12, but now I feel like a piker when I see what some people have received.

I, too, hope I don't disappoint.

I first participated in this last year;
I think the idea is to give, not based on what you would get.

I actually seemed to have slipped through the cracks last year, but felt almost overwhelmed with grattitude considering what my SS sent me last year...
I planned on doing alike this year...
I am not well off, but REALLY hope that my recipient appreciates what I have bought for them.

Received my Santa gift today. Put it under the tree and am planning to be a very good child (28 years old child) and wait until Xmas to open it and see what's inside.

I try to stick to the 60+/- range. Some are in the $10 range and some go to the $100+ range. It a about giving what you can. Everyone will enjoy anything they get. Its about the spirit. If I only get a $10 coin/item I'm happy & thankful

Not sure what the deal is but I received another nice secret santa gift today from Child of the Wheat. It was a great selection of coins and I appreciate it, but I am concerned that somebody may be missing a gift or something. I have received two Secret Santa gifts in the last 2 days from 2 different people (at least I am almost positive it is two separate santas based on handwriting). I could kid myself and think that I have been extra good this year :) but I am afraid it was an assigning mistake....

If my memory serves me correct from last years post, I do believe that the OP likes to have several people to send to... so it is possible.

Well...I had to send international (Canada) and when I tracked it this morning it still has it departing the original post office that I mailed it from. It has been exactly one week since I mailed it. I really hope they receive the gift.

Wow! What an absolutely wonderful gift I got from Santa today. He did his homework also as he was aware of my chase for the top 100 RPM's. He sent this beautiful MS66RD 1938S-1MM-002, Stage C. I truly do appreciate the generosity!!
