Why What possible excuse could someone have for taking so long to get their package delivered that you would think is quite reasonable ? Unless someone has been on life support or in Jail I can't think of any reason why it would take this long to get a package sent to ANY part of the World, Let alone another Month. Hey guys, I was in touch with rggoodie recently about whether I received something or not. Unfortunately, as of today I didn't get anything. However, I am fairly sure this is most probably beacuse of the postal services here in Turkey. I'm trying to contricute to Secret Santa ever since I have joined to the forum (probably started in 2010). I enjoy so much to be a part of it, even thoguh goegraphically I am quite far to the majority of the forum and the English-speaking world. So far, I never actually had a problem with Secret Santa, or almost 99 percent of the mail from people I have traded here until late-2015. I moved to a new address in late-2015 and after that unregistered mail started to disappear (including ebay buys, trades, etc.) So I made a test, gave half of the people that are going to mail me something, both coins and non-coins related my work address, and the other half my home address. That resulted with, no missing deliveries to my work address, and nothing (not even one single unregistered mail) arrived to my home address. I even had a few words with my mailman here, but the sad thing is the mail services were sold int oa profit-makng company a few years ago, that means the mail deliverer changes every week or even daily. So far, I have no idea why unregistered mail can't make it to my home address. Unfortunately it was my home address that I mailed to Santa for teh Secret Santa event. (didn't thought the situation can be that bad back in December) I wanted to explain the situation here a little bit to Santa an my gift sender, if he's still checking this thread. I have no hard feelings because I didn't get anything. I am still very happy to be a part of the forum and Secret Santa, and would love to join again in 2017. It's perfectly okay not to receive anything this year - maybe I had been a bad boy, who knows. :) So please rggoodie, you can cross me off the list. I am happy to be a part of the Secret Santa concept and has met great people in the forum. Will cross my fingers for 2017. :o)
