I really enjoy looking they these albums. I would never had guessed I would like it so much. I am really looking forward to making it better. When starting this in April 2015 ... I ask opinions on weather I should take the coins out of my Dollar date set. My dollar date set has many Better grade sets. Most said leave the date set intact. I still wonder ifI should combine the sets. I am just a middle class guy. Buying coins that cost over one or two hundred really takes some planning. I guess I am just typing out loud ... The best course for me might be to do like I have been doing with my type set ... take the next decade to upgrade to better coins.

Congradulation on almost completing a Morgan set. There are no bargains on the 93s, so take your time and get a quality example.

Very nice set GR! That '85 CC is glorious. I'm way behind you with many to go, actually 30, but number is skewed a bit because I'm not putting MS examples in these albums. Putting this set together really makes one appreciate what Ralph has accomplished.

Your right there ... Ralph posting all his sets is the one that got me thinking I could do a set.
The family I work for has two local coin shops. I could not have gotten this far without their help.
Both shops watch for coins I need.

GR58 Your set looks sort of like mine minus about 8 coins. I like the 85CC as well. It is sort of a bummer that on a number of the coins it is hard to afford anything but place holders such as 1893CC and 1893-S and most of the coins from 1893-95. Even the 1896-S, 84-S and 86-0 are expensive to get in MS as are the 1901-s, 02-s, 03- and 04-S. I just spent over $300 on a 1880CC in AU50. I have tried to get most of my Morgans in at least AU, but have not been successful due to cost factors. I do need the 81CC, 85CC, 89CC and 93CC and "ouch" that will smart as well as the most of the coins from 93-95 not counting the 95 proof. Congrats on a powerful effort. You did not let the perfect become an enemy of the good. I will probably get most of mine from local coin shop since he has better lower condition coins than I see online. A Morgan in G or VG condition you buy on ebay is usually a real dog. Live long and prosper!

Such a great set you have put together in only 18 months! Well done and I would probably want to save for the 1893 S first but with the coins that come into your shops I am sure if I tried that I would get sidetracked by the second day. Beautiful and SUPER Congrats!

Great looking set, being in Canada I don't have access to the shops you have in the US. The LCS here do carry some but surely not the choices that you would have available there . Most of the Morgans in my date set were below the $40 mark but the remaining dozen or so will be costly... and then there's the exchange rate Congrats on your set, it looks awesome
