What is interesting about this is that it has a bid on it from someone with >800 transactions and the seller has 80% postiive feedback. I would think that someone with >800 transactions would stay away from this auction with a 10 foot pole. But not this propsective buyer. I will go out on a limb and suggest "shill bidding", but now that all bidders are essentially private, you can never check this, can you? I think this is just the tip of the iceberg of the rampant shill bidding that will occur now that bidders' names are private.

You can't check it even if it's not private. Only ebay can.... maybe.

Uh...the current bid is $5K and still "reserve is not met"?! For a coin worth a few bucks?! It's not even a 42/1.

Can anyone tell me what these bidders are smoking--is a new, mind-bending drug rendering people senseless?

Update: I reported this because the seller claims it's PCGS certified, but he hasn't provided a proper cert #.

I just went back and looked at this listing again and did not realize it had three certification # from PCGS and was an uncirculated PROOF. This is described above the coin. The coin itself in the picture looks circulated to me and is not a proof. Maybe this one needs to be reported?

Oh my god that is too funny. I love how he makes up his own PCGS certification numbers too. Good for an early morning laugh!
