twslisa Pillar of the Community United States 790 Posts	Posted 11/12/2016 06:54 am I picked up a couple toned ASE's at a dollar or two over bullion (I've seen others for considerably more--no thanks). My guess is most are AT'd, but until I have the bucks for a real hoard in tubes and such, the coins I have are tucked away in a little album where I can look at them, and I thought these coins were pretty. I also recently saw a graded ASE PR70 DCAM with some ruby red toning along the upper rim. So natural toning can and does happen. I agree that in your case because it's so subtle it is likely natural.
