Guys, here's an article by Leroy Van Allen (of VAM fame) comparing the 1964 design to previous Morgan designs...

Very neat video.

I found myself salivating over those bags of Morgans early in the video

Now where did I put my time machine

dcarr - DEFINITELY has "CARR" on the eagle hub. :) Nice catch!
It actually says 'CARP. II' on the side. I got that from watching the video.

I was fine when Dan pointed out how it looked like it.

I just wanted to make sure everyone actually watched the video. Charles says what it is stamped on there and what it all means. Good stuff, worth watching.

Yes it was mentioned in the video and that it referred to the type of steel used for the hub.

Thanks everybody for the comment. Carp II - refers to the company of manufacture. Carpenter is the company. Wiki profile, fyi... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carpe..._Corporation

If you liked this video, you will be blown away once I'm finished with my last "big" video of the year. Let's just say... there's over $40 million in coins in it + something I'm almost positive nobody outside of a handful of people have ever seen.

If you like toner Morgans, check the CoinWeek channel on Monday. We'll have a wonderful video on some of the most spectacular toners you will ever see.

I'm still wanting to see some good quality photos of the 1964 Peace dollar hubs that were also discovered at the same time.
