A dealer friend sent this Columbian Half Dollar in for grading at least two times in the late 1990s. It always came back MS-63. Given the color and surfaces, I would have thought that it would have come back higer. He finally gave up and sold it to me for MS-64 money.
Your 1934 LWH dollar was so sharp I thought it was a recent bullion silver piece. I think the 30's are about the last of the decades for the LWH where you could get such a coin in that condition for a reasonable price. Any date in the teens or 20's would probably bring some big bucks. I think the Peace dollars with mintage of less than 1 million are undervalued and I am trying to post a pic of one.
