Buy the keys last. For me it is like a grand finale. Also, I started collecting by pulling coins from change when I was much younger. There is no way I could have afforded to buy the keys first.

The way I look at it is if a new collector spends a lot of money on a coin, then looses interest in the hobby, big waste of money. Best for new collectors to just see what you like in collecting.
