Nice set so far. One trip to a coin show and a hundred bucks, you should have that thing full.

The rest of the set is substantially more than $100 in MS grades, at least going by RedBook prices... I suppose I might look for nice AU specimens for the higher priced coins. Strong luster and no toning/original color is what my criteria are for this set... doesn't matter how long it takes...

My wife has been cleaning today, she found a bunch of change... She let me look through it and I found a State Quarter and a parks quarter that are nice enough to add to the album... Figured a pic of the reverses would be more interesting for these...

Very nice looking album. Glad you are having fun wth this. You said: Quote:The rest of the set is substantially more than $100 in MS grades, at least going by RedBook prices... RedBook prices have always been way too high and unreliable as far as what you should pay for something. Being fair, remember they started a long time before the internet and so had to comensate for what they thought the price might be in the upcoming year. Look at prices on numismedia.com as its updated with trending prices online. Also look on ebay to compare prices with sold auctions. You will likely be surprised at the difference in prices. For tsutworthy ebay - CCF has quite a few members who sell there. I also personally have dealt with my semi-local shop who has a large ebay store. He is seller oozentoo on ebay - ACE coins. If you ask, I am sure others will tell you the trusted sellers they have bought from on ebay.

I do realize RedBook runs high, but I would rather overestimate prices and end up finding them cheaper... I also wouldn't mind paying a little more for a really nice coin. I appreciate the recommendations on trusted ebay sellers, I like to buy from my local shops, but I may have to go to other sources for some stuff, it helps to have some insight on who to buy from...

Nice! Chipjones helped me out a while back with a few Kennedy halves that I needed. Great guy to trade with.

Fantastic looking Album. I like that dark color. At the rate your filling it, by the time everyone has a chance to see it, it will be full. Then what is next?
