1880 O Possible VAM? - Coin Community Forum

keepcalmandcoinon Pillar of the Community United States 865 Posts	Posted 01/05/2017 01:25 am Hey everyone, I just picked up this coin today and want to ask you experts if you can see any VAM attributions on it. There's a couple spots on the coin that make me think there could be a possible VAM. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you! Chute72 Pillar of the Community United States 1314 Posts	Posted 01/05/2017 10:18 pm Date is in the normal position, but possibly slanted with the last 8 higher than the 1. Check for doubling under the upper crossbar. If it's there, you may have the VAM-39. If not, it's something else. Report this Post to the Staff

There is the lines in LI of liberty and the spike on the second arrow shaft. I'll try to get some pics uploaded of them. Thanks everyone for the help. It's very much appreciated.
