@ns, here are a few pics from another first edition book. Die Saurmasche Münzsammlung, AKA "Saurma" is a great resource for medieval coinage of Germany, although Switzerland and Poland are also represented. This information is available for free on the web ( https://www.saurma.info/intro.htm), but I jumped at the chance to pick the paper version when I had the chance. An important catalog of german coinage. What do you think is the equivalent here? Perhaps the catalogs of the Louis Eliaberg's complete collection of US coins. But Die Saurmasche Münzsammlung encompassed comprehensive German State issues, not just the federal. Thanks for sharing this with us Spence! Anyhow, here is Louis Eliasberg with his collection housed in custom Capital Plastic holders, that went into trays that went into trunks that went into a cavernous vault. What a collecting life he must have led... 1985-S Proof Washington quarter defaced die. Note you can still see partial reversed 'TRUST' and back of his neck.   Edited by 70Shark

Nice contribution 70Shark! Here is a Carson City half dollar reverse die. A whole bunch were found burried near the CC Mint some years ago.
