Biker Coin Guy Valued Member United States 121 Posts	Posted 01/31/2017 10:47 pm The lower loop has been filled to some degree in all of them I've seen, and I've seen several 1918s with the top of the 8 clipped off. I've never seen one quite like this though, with the cracks radiating out from the top hole of the 8, and a straight edge on the right upper portion of the 8. I'm happy with it either way, but rich and happy is always better :-) Report this Post to the Staff

Conder101 Bedrock of the Community United States 17884 Posts	Posted 02/02/2017 12:34 pm On the genuine the 7 comes down diagonally and almost fills the lower loop of the 8. That isn't the case on the OP coin. Report this Post to the Staff
