It's a medal to commemorate the Coronation of Edward VII. They were made in a variety of sizes and compositions, I believe the link that Finn posted is for the sterling silver version. Yours appears to be the 56mm bronze.

It's too bad about the damage and spots, I've been watching ebay listings for a number of years and they are seldom listed. I'm not saying they're rare, but I am still on the hunt for a problem free one.
