Goo-gone for the ink-marks. May or may not work but wont affect the patina.

Thanks bosox..!!..Always great to have your special examples added in on CCF.

CV..I did go and get the Goo-Gone from one of your earlier suggestions here.(just haven't tried it yet)

I will try it on the marks and let everyone know "if" any improvement is noticed....(fingers crossed)

How long should I ever let the Goo-gone sit on the cents surface..?

put some goo-gone on a Q-tip and rub very gently...

if you want to soak it in goo-gone, you can spray the coin and let it sit for a few minutes.

no harm if you forget though...the goo-gone wont hurt the coin, it's chemically inert (or something like that)...

My early stage 1859 DP9 No.4 NGC MS63 crossed to PCGS MS63RB. Here she is. I'm not sure if any of the PCGS MS64s are early stage die.

Did they put anything on the label about the environmental spots in "remarks"?
