Here is another 1859 TP 9 -2..seeing as we on to another nice 59 variety.. Always nice examples from bosox...Thanks...     .

Goo-gone for the ink-marks. May or may not work but wont affect the patina.

Thanks bosox..!!..Always great to have your special examples added in on CCF.
CV..I did go and get the Goo-Gone from one of your earlier suggestions here.(just haven't tried it yet)
I will try it on the marks and let everyone know "if" any improvement is noticed....(fingers crossed)

 put some goo-gone on a Q-tip and rub very gently... if you want to soak it in goo-gone, you can spray the coin and let it sit for a few minutes. no harm if you forget though...the goo-gone wont hurt the coin, it's chemically inert (or something like that)...

Did they put anything on the label about the environmental spots in "remarks"?
