I can't identify the last number of the date. Really I want to know if it is 1922 since that would fill a hole. Looking at the pictures off-camera, I probably should have used a smaller aperture

I'm seeing what could be the base of a 2 or a 3, but I'm also seeing the top of a 4 or a 5.

It could very well be just a 1921, considering the shape of the last digit.

Looks like a 3, hit in middle and pushed up.

OK, so apparently I stink at taking pictures of coins. lol. It would be nice if I still had my 100mm macro lens to use for this. Hopefully these pictures are more helpful.

I'm still in for 1923 for the reverse, looks like typical weak strike reverses of early 20's although worn too. All I can discern is a lower loop, a 3,5,8, it since weak strike has to be 23. Put it in the cull bin!
