I'm sure they are but it'd be nice to see both sides.

You have paid 2 times or so for the wrapper, now you want to crack the roll

I got my 'roll' yesterday. Unfortunately, both ends show the Queen. So, I still have not seen a Stanley Cup Quarter in real.

In reality, it is my belief that the mint wants us to hoard coins. The more that we keep from circulation, the more they have to make to replace them. That keeps their number up. Otherwise, why would we need to be replacing millions upon millions of coins every year. Since 1968 (first non-silver coins) there has been no other reason for coins to be removed from circulation. If you do find a 1968 in your change, it will be in good enough shape to keep in circulation.

Kind of adds new meaning to the phrase "cup protection".

It's a 125% markup to have a special roll, it's not too much to expect the reverse to be exposed on at least one end. I ordered 50 rolls and I'll send back any that are obverse on both ends.

Now, lest we fall pray to the gambler's fallacy, it is unlikely that obverse and reverse are anything other than randomly distributed. But what if the mint's vendors had choice? I wonder about this as the numerous rolls I already have seem skewed towards double trophy or double head, in that order, then, lastly obverse/reverse like it should (ideally) be. To the tune of 1 in 7 or so. I have double down on this to see what the next batch looks like. Will post if seems to be interest. And yes, I am counting on being able to return rejects.

Like all rolls out of Winnipeg, they are random packed.

Quote: Like all rolls out of Winnipeg, they are random packed. Understandable when a roll a quarters sells for $10, but for $22.95 it's ok to demand more.

My regular wrap roll shows the reverse on both ends.
The 5 cent special wrap roll from the $184.95 set shows the obverse at both ends. Will send that back.

I just received my 'set' of special rolls for Canada 150. 3 of the five have queens both sides. At more than double the face value, I am not impressed.
Out of 6 special rolls, 4 are not showing me what is special (including Stanley cup Quarters). I have requested a return authorization from my rep.
