If you ever see me at a Torex... whisper this in my ear (because it would have to be true)... Quote: Go home!! You're drunk!! The Toronto Maple Leafs have a better chance of winning the Stanley Cup, than me being present at a Torex.

You must admit, this is the most promising young Leafs group in 60 years or so

It's not really an ideal event but as a fledgling campus coin club with two active members out of five or six (depending on how you're counting), social media is great but it would be better if a club could hang out as a group. Coin Expo is too long to wait for a first meeting of the members, I think. Even if it's just two active people now.

inconnu ... We used to fill more than a whole page sometimes in one day. Now the first page goes back years. It was great while it lasted and we were all on there. Good riddance.

Yes I remember it well. There was such a wealth of knowledge all in one place. I learned a lot and hopefully passed on some knowledge as well.

For anyone not attending Torex, there is a great local show in Boucherville, QC about 30 minutes southeast of Montreal. There are usually around 40 dealers and a surprising wealth of material.

Never been. Is it worth it if you're just looking to unload coins or should I just drive up to CCC?

I'll be there too at noon, I'm wearing a blue polka dot hoodie, and a pin of my college society. I'll have friends from campus coming along too!

Did anyone do a % count of how many CCCS coins sold..? He's referring to dumping his collection to CCC as in Canadian Coin and Currency not CCCS Personally I'd sell to a different store. I rather my items not be cleaned, bleached, 'improved on' and resold to unsuspecting buyers
