I'm re-posting images of these small chunky copper coins in the hope that drnsreehar might be able to help me identify them please. Being a new member I am not permitted to email direct. Other kind members have guided me in your direction.

Left coin possibly Maratha, 18th cent http://www.zeno.ru/showgallery.php?cat=9507
middle coin is possibly from Bijapur 17th cent. http://www.zeno.ru/showphoto.php?photo=169550
top right is possibly Sikh Empire 19th cent http://www.zeno.ru/showgallery.php?cat=8391

There were large quantities of unofficial Indian copper coins made, sometimes identification is not possible beyond a generic description... Providing the weight of the coins is always useful too.

Hi Andy, thanks so much. Some very useful leads. Quite a variety of types and age.
