I apologize for the pics but I'm not used to photographing mirror-like coins! There are quite a few marks on his face/neck. There is also a strange surface...thing running from the L to his neck on the obverse. What are your thoughts for a grade?

AU/XF Details Polished? I'm not sure how much the big dings knock it down.

There are a lot of dings/marks but, is there a limit on how many bag marks can be on an MS coin?

I don't look at too many of these, but it seems the reverse design inherently looks worn.

I'm confused by this one because of the mirror-like surface (especially on the obverse), accompanied by all of those dings.

I know the weight and dimensions are correct but it's a little odd otherwise. There are some weird lines to the right and below Kennedy's ear that I have no idea about.

An overall

One of the first parts to wear on the obverse is the hair, and I think I see wear on his hair at the part right above his ear. I think it's shiny because it was polished (hence my details grade). Just looking at the first picture, you can see that the areas closest to the letters are not as shiny, and have what I would guess to be the original finish. That same finish is also there around the rims and the bust.

Thanks for the input. I see what you're saying around the letters and bust. A little bit of a bummer but it is suspiciously shiny for the amount of marks
.

Oh well, it's still silver!

I don't think it would make a MS coin and yes it could be polished too.
