Iwannado: Often new collectors look so hard to find something that isn't there. When you do find your first variety, you kick yourself for over looking on coins. When you find one, you will know it instantly. It will leap out at you. Your eye is trained, you just haven't found the right coin yet. So hang in there. We will all be delighting when you post your first big find. Then you will know what I'm talking about. Here are a few examples of know doubled ears this will help you to see that the design is enlarged a lot. So they are easier to spot. When you see them side by side with a normal coin, that also helps a lot. Looking forward to you next find!
The best way to check is to make a normal coin and your coin a side by side. Making them both the same size, cropping them the same and place them side by side. (Like the image above of a side by side.
