Aurelian, AE Antoninianus, AD 270-275.
Antoninianus. Rome mint (I guess).
IMP AVRELIANVS AVG / ORIENS AVG, Sol walking right, holding laurel branch and bow, treading down an enemy. Mintmark XXIR.
I am not sure about letter in left field (maybe T?).
And what is grade and value of coin?

Condition good Very Fine, the strike a bit weak in the centre of the reverse.
The bronze coins of Aurelian are relatively common.
VCOINS have similar coins for sale in similar condition for around $50.

Nice coin.
Agree it is good Very Fine.
The mark in the left field looks to me to be Gamma; (gamma).

Paul, forgive my asking, but to what does the "#915" refer? The mark is a Greek letter gamma for the third officina, but you already noted the officina. I assume it is a reference number for something?

Sorry...I don't know where #915 came from?
On my records that I copied over its a gamma.
Strangely I notice that greekandromancoins has
the same #915 with gamma in brackets?

Usually these things pop up on CCF when non-English letters are used.

It looks like we both the same thing - post the gamma into our posts but the forum software did not recognise it.
I think is important for this forum to be able to handle the greek alphabet....
