So, when I woke up this morning, the first thing I did was go to E bay and learn how to report an item. It took about ten minutes to figure out what I was doing. It probably wouldn't have taken so long, but in 40 years of collecting now, I don't use E bay that often. However, once I found the "Report Item" in the bottom right of a listing, it was pretty self explanatory from there. Report this Post to the Staff
billjones Pillar of the Community United States 1499 Posts	Posted 03/23/2017 5:58 pm This is a hunk of junk. It's the rare 1796 Bust off-center variety, which was only made in 1795. A guy showed up at local coin club meeting one night with one of these things. He had paid $200 for it on the Internet. He got angry at me for telling him it was not real. I guess people on the Internet sell for $5,000 coins for $200 all the time. I wish I'd known. Report this Post to the Staff

A few months ago, I told a friend he'd bought a counterfeit S-VDB. I even took it to a show and got my opinion confirmed. He then proceeded to submit it to a TPG, paid the freight and got shot down, again. Hope he believes me next time and saves the fees. Also, this so-called "1796" was an easy one to report.
