Looking at my spreadsheet, running the numbers...

I find that Mercury dimes are due a re-visit.

Oops, let me amend that!

I was looking at the ones done twice (everything else is three or more times by now).

Two have been done once...

Barber coinage. However, that thread never ended thanks to our late friend Elbesaar. I think doing a round two is too soon.

Trade dollars. It is only seven days. We can do Mercury after that.

...Wait, what do you mean end? I still hadn't posted mine!

(Please tell me someone's scheduled to go after me. My coin sucks so much it wouldn't be much of a finisher. Also I wanted to see this making it to page 100.)

@j1m, you've got less than four hours to post that coin. C'mon let's see what you've got--it can't be any worse than some of the duds I posted earlier in the thread.

As I've mentioned, while I don't have a single true Pre-Federal, I do have several coins that can perhaps be vaguely considered colonial.

The coin I posted yesterday - the insanely worn Hibernia halfpenny - was probably the second closest thing I had to an actual colonial.
This coin is the first closest.

France (occasionally listed as French Colonies), 30 deniers (mousquetaire), 1710-AA (Metz mint).

Apparently listed in the Red Book, with a value of $75 in VG (which this, admittedly, clearly is not).
I personally only paid 100 rubles (~$1.7) for this coin (yes, it was a bargain bin find).

Sorry for the ever awful photo quality, by the way (still the same smartphone camera, and still no flash).

Wow this was an amazing thread, and those colonials!
I'll just pretend that I didn't forget yesterday was the last day, so I'll squeeze in this coin that's the closest thing I have to a colonial: 1782MO FF Mexico 8 Reales, from the El Cazador shipwreck.
